    • Nonstick cooking spray
    • 1 small onion
    • 1/3 cup diced green bell pepper
    • 1/3 cup diced red bell pepper
    • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
    • 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
    • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon A.1. sauce
    • 2 1/2 teaspoons Heinz 57 sauce
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 tablespoon ketchup
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
    • 1 2/3 cups biscuit mix (such as Bisquick)
    • 2/3 cup water
    • 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
    • Dried parsley flakes
    • Paprika


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Coat a 9-inch-square pan that is at least 2 inches deep with cooking spray.
    3. In a large pan, saute onion and bell peppers in oil until soft. Add beef; cook until browned. Add sauces, ketchup, salt, pepper and garlic powder; reduce heat to low and simmer about 15 minutes. Romove from heat. add bread crumbs and mix well; set aside.
    4. Thoroughly stir together biscuit mix and water; spread batter evenly in the baking pan. Bake about 15 minutes until lightly browned ont the bottom.
    5. Spoon meat mixture over baked crust. Lightly warm mashed potatoes in the microwave; spread potatoes over meat mixture. Sprinkle cheese evenly over potatoes; sprinkle parsley and paprika over cheese. Bake until cheese is melted about 12 minutes.
    6. Let cool 10 minutes before serving. (MAY BE FROZEN FOR LATER USE)
    7. Yields; 6 servings
