List of Ingredients
- Bar ingredients
- 1 (1 lb 2.25oz) package Devils food cake mix included with pudding
- 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 eggs beaten
- Frosting ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 5 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1 (6oz) package semi sweet chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 350
- Grease and flour 15x10x1 inch baking pan or a 13x9.
- In a large bowl combine all the bar ingrdients;
- Stir until well blended.
- Spread in greased and floured pan
- bake for 20 - 30 minutes or until tooth -pick comes out clean.
- In a small saucepan combine sugar milk and margarine.
- Bring to a boil, boil for 1 minute stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat stir in chocolate chips until smooth.
- Pour and spread over warm bars.
- Cool 1 1/4 hours or until completely cooled.
- Cut into bars.
