List of Ingredients



• 1 cup all purpose flour
  
• 2 tablespoons sugar
  
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
  
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
  
• 3/4 cup water
  
• 2/3 cup solid vegetable shortening
  
• 1 egg
  
• Filling
  
• 1 can (1lb. 5oz) apple pie filling
  
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  
• 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice or cinamon
  






Instructions



1. in small mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt,water, shortening and egg.
   
2. Blend well at lowest speed; 2 minutes at medium speed.
   
3. Spread batter in 10-inch or 9-inch deep dish pie pan.
   
4. Carefully spoon filling into center of batter.
   
5. DO NOT STIR
   
6. Bake at 425 for 40 to 45 minutes until crust is golden brown.
