    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 light corn syrup
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
    • 1/4 pound marshmallows (16 large )
    • 1 cup chopped candied cherries
    • 1 cup broken nuts
    • 4 quarts popped corn


    Instructions


    1. combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan
    2. cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until mixture boils.
    3. continur cooking without stirring until candy thermometer registers 260
    4. or small amount dropped in cold water forms a very hard ball
    5. remove from heat.
    6. quickly add butter, marshmallows, fruit and nuts
    7. stir until marshmallows dissolve.
    8. pour mixture over popped corn in a large bowl.....
    9. mix well to completely coat popped corn.
    10. wet hands in cold water and quickly form into balls....
