THE RECIPES IN THIS CATEGORY WERE MY MOTHER-IN-LAW'S AND WHEN SHE PASSED AWAY HER LITTLE TIN BOX THAT HELD HER RECIPES WAS GIVEN TO ME SO THIS IS MY WAY TO HONOR HER.





List of Ingredients



• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  
• 1/2 teaspoon double actiong baking powder
  
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
  
• 1/3 cup margarine
  
• 1/4 cup pecans chopped fine
  






Instructions



1. Sift together the flour and baking powder set aside
   
2. blend together the margarine and the brown sugar cream well
   
3. add dry ingredients
   
4. stir in pecans
   
5. pat firmly into bottom of well greased 13x9x2 pan
   
6. bake at 350 for 10 minutes
