List of Ingredients
- 3 pounds spareribs, cut in seving sized pieces
- 2/3 cup brow sugar firmly packed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2/3 vinegar
- 1 cup crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Spread ribs , meatly side up, in a single layer in a large shallow pan.
- Brow in 425 oven for 20 to 30 minutes
- Drain off fat
- Combine all remaining ingredients except salt and pepper
- in saucepan stir smooth, cook over meduim heat until thick and glossy, stirring constantly.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over browned ribs.
- spoon sweet-sour sauce over each piece, using about half the sauce.
- Reduce oven to 350 and bake for 45 minutes
- turn ribs cover with remaining sauce and bake for 30 minutes more.
- or until well done.
