    List of Ingredients


    • 3 pounds spareribs, cut in seving sized pieces
    • 2/3 cup brow sugar firmly packed
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 2 teaspoon dry mustard
    • 2/3 vinegar
    • 1 cup crushed pineapple
    • 1/2 cup catsup
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • salt and pepper


    Instructions


    1. Spread ribs , meatly side up, in a single layer in a large shallow pan.
    2. Brow in 425 oven for 20 to 30 minutes
    3. Drain off fat
    4. Combine all remaining ingredients except salt and pepper
    5. in saucepan stir smooth, cook over meduim heat until thick and glossy, stirring constantly.
    6. Sprinkle salt and pepper over browned ribs.
    7. spoon sweet-sour sauce over each piece, using about half the sauce.
    8. Reduce oven to 350 and bake for 45 minutes
    9. turn ribs cover with remaining sauce and bake for 30 minutes more.
    10. or until well done.
