    MEXICAN MANICOTTI

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound lean ground beef
    • 1 can (16 oz.) refried beans
    • 2 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 8oz. package manicotti shells
    • 2 1/2 cups water
    • 1 jar picante sauce
    • 2 cups sour cream
    • 1 cup shredded Mexican style cheese
    • 1/4 cup green onions
    • sliced ripe olives, optional


    Instructions


    1. In a bowl, combine the uncooked beef, refried beans, chili powder and oregano.

    2. Spoon into uncooked Manicotti shells.

    3. Arrange in a greased 13x9x2 baking dish.

    4. Combine water and picante sauce; pour over shells.

    5. Cover and refrigerate over night.

    6. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

    7. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

    8. Uncover, spoon sour cream over the top.

    9. Sprinkle with cheese, onions and olives.

    10. Bake 5-10 minutes longer until the cheese is melted.

    11. Yield: 8 servings
