1 quart of okra
Salt
Black pepper
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of baking powder
Flour

Boil the okra until tender the strain off water and mash. Season
with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix in the eggs, baking powder, and enough flour to make a still
batter. Drop by one rounded tablespoonful at a time in hot oil and
fry until golden brown.
