    Finnish Potato Patties

    List of Ingredients




    1/4 Lb bacon; cook crisp and crumble; save drippings
    4 large potatoes; peeled, cooked and mashed
    1 tbsp milk
    1 egg; beaten
    1/2 tsp allspice
    1/2 salt; or to taste
    1 small onion, chopped fine; or 4-5 shallot cloves

    Recipe



    Cook the bacon til crisp and crumble, save the drippings.
    Combine all ingredients and shape into patties. Fry in the bacon drippings.
