    • 1 lb. lean ground beef
    • 1 cup chopped onions
    • 4 cups of water
    • 1 cup chopped carrots
    • 1 cup chopped celery
    • 1 cup diced potatoes
    • 2 tbsp. slat
    • 2 tsp. pepper
    • 1 tsp. brown boquet sauce
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1/8 tsp. basil
    • 1 can (28oz,) diced tomatoes with juice


    Instructions


    1. In a large saucepan, cook and stir meat until golden brown
    2. Drain off fat
    3. Cook and stir onions with eat until golden brown, about 5 minutes
    4. Stir in remaining ingredients and heat to boil
    5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes
