    • 2 CUPS APPLE SAUCE
    • 2 CUPS SUGAR
    • 1 CUP SHORTENING
    • 1 CUP RAISIN
    • 1 CUP CURRENTS
    • 1 TSP SALT
    • 1/8 TSP CLOVES
    • 1/2 TSP CINNAMON
    • 1/8 TSP NUTMEG
    • 2 SMALL TSP SODA
    • 3 CUPS FLOUR


    Instructions


    1. CREAM TOGETHER THE SUGAR AND SHORTENING
    2. ADD THE APPLESAUCE
    3. ADD THE FLOUR, SALT AND THE SODA
    4. ADD THE RAISINS CURRENTS AND SPICES
    5. BAKE IN A 350 DEGREE OVEN FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL A PICK INSERTED COMES OUT CLEAN
