    • 3 CUPS HUCKLEBERRIES
    • 1/4 TSP SODA
    • 1 CUP WATER
    • 1 CUP SUGAR
    • 1/4 TSP SALT
    • 2 TBSP VINEGAR OR LEMON JUICE
    • FLOUR AND WATER TO THICKEN
    • 1 UNBAKED PIE SHELL


    Instructions


    1. COVER THE HUCKLEBERRIES WITH BOILING WATER
    2. ADD THE SODA AND BOIL SLOWLY
    3. DRAIN WELL AND MASH
    4. ADD A CUP OF WATER, A CUP OF SUGAR, THE SALT, AND VINEGAR
    5. BRING TO THE BOIL AND THICKEN WITH THE FLOUR AND WATER
    6. COOL AND POUR INTO AN UNBAKED PIE SHELL
    7. BAKE AT 375 DEGREES ABOUT 1 HOUR
