    List of Ingredients


    • 5 MEDIUM SIZE POTATOES PEELED
    • 2 TBSP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
    • 2 TBSP FLOUR
    • 1 OR 1 1/2 CUPS MILK
    • 1/2 LB SHREDDED CHEESE



    Instructions


    1. DICE THE POTATOES INTO 1/2 INCH CUBES
    2. BOIL UNTIL FORK TENDER
    3. DRAIN AND PUT IN CASSEROLE DISH
    4. MELT THE BUTTER AND STIR IN THE FLOUR
    5. ADD THE MILK AND STIR GENTLY UNTIL SMOOTH AND THICK
    6. STIR IN 1/2 LB OF CHEESE
    7. POUR OVER THE POTATOES AND BAKE IN A 375 DEGREE OVEN UNTIL THE SAUCE IS BUBBLY
    8. A CRUMB TOPPING MAY BE USED
