Ok, so if you're anything like me you are a recipe addict and can (and have at times) spend hours and hours browsing the net for recipes. Amazing how you can always find new and interesting things no matter how many recipes you already have collected.
This site is a place I am posting the recipes I've collected over the years. For my own collection, I keep them stored in Mastercook database -- It's a recipe organization software program I would highly recommend .. not too expensive and tons of great features. Lets you create your own cookbook databases, print them out, adjust them, scale recipes, create shopping list, etc.
I have tried to break the site into categories that make sense to me, for ease of finding a particular recipe when I want to pull something up, but also for ease of browsing a type of food (i.e. muffins) if I have no idea what I'm in the mood for. Because the collection has grown so large, I started to put subheadings in some of the categories.. I didn't want to have to sort thru 6 screens of "next 100 recipes" to find a potato soup recipe. When I post recipes they get sorted into categories and show up in alphabetical listing. Many categories have between 100-700 recipes in them... so have tried to add subheadings to make it easier to find things.
If you are wanting to see or print out a master list of my categories and the subheadings you can find in each, I have created a list in this section.. "categories & their subheadings" Hopefully it will help you find things faster if you dont want to spend hours browsing.
