Seafood: Baked Crabmeat Spread

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons green onion -- sliced
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cooked crabmeat
1 clove garlic -- minced
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
Heat oven to 350�F. Grease 9" pie pan. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook til tender. Stir in flour and pepper, cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk; cook til boils, stirring constantly. Stir in Parmesan cheese and remove from heat. Fold in crab. Pour into prepared pan and then sprinkle with cheddar. Bake for 10-15 minutes or til thoroughly heated and cheese is melted. Serve with melba rounds or french bread. Yield 1 1/2 c.
