Seafood: Layered Crab & Avocado Dip

1/2 cup sour cream
8 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon grated lime peel, fresh
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 cup chopped cooked crabmeat (or immitation)
1 medium avocado, peeled, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 medium tomato, chopped
chopped fresh cilantro
tortilla chips or crackers
Recipe
Combine sour cream, cream cheese, lime peel and cumin in medium bowl, mixing well. Stir iin crabmeat. Spread onto 10 inch serving plate to within 1 inch of edge of plate. Combine avocado and lime juice in small bowl; toss to coat. Spoon evenly over cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with tomato and cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers. Dip can be prepared several hours ahead. Cover and refrigerate until serving time; just before serving, sprinkle with chopped tomato and cilantro. Makes 4 cups. 32 servings
