Spinach: Lowfat Spinach Dip

1 1/2 cups sour cream fat free
1 cup mayonnaise, fat free
1 envelope vegetable soup mix (1/4 cup)
1 10 oz package chopped spinach, thawed and
drained well
4 green onion, chopped
1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Recipe
Thaw spinach and squeeze out liquid. Add rest of ingredients and blend well. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Serve with pumpernickel or sourdough bread chunks or with crackers. (Can serve in hollowed-out bread round if desired.)
