Sweet: Silky Apricot Cheese Dip

3/4 cup apricot jam
2 tablespoons brandy
8 ounces softened cream cheese
8 ounces sour cream
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 cup slivered almonds


Recipe

In a small bowl, combine apricot jam and brandy; set aside. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Blend in sour cream and almond extract. Stir in apricot mixture and mix well. Fold in almonds. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes about 3 cups.
