Seafood: Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese Spread

smoked salmon
cream cheese, softened
unsweetened heavy cream, whipped
fresh chopped dill,
fresh chopped parsley
capers, chopped, drained
lemon pepper
minced pimento, drained
Recipe
The best way to do this is to beat the cream cheese well, then fold in some freshly whipped cream. Add your smoked salmon and seasonings of choice. Some seasoning suggestions are: fresh chopped dill, chopped or sliced black or stuffed green olives, fresh parsley, capers (not my choice, but some love them), some lemon pepper or lemon Mrs. Dash (not so likely to be too salty), some minced pimiento will add a nice pinkish tinge to the dip and looks very pretty, or you can use fine slivers of beets. Nice served with finely chopped hard-boiled eggs or minced fresh onion to sprinkle on top. This works best when the spread is served with cocktail toasts or fairly large crackers.
