Bean: White Bean Garlic Spread

15 ounces cannellini beans, rinsed, drained
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
4 pita breads, each cut in 6 wedges
Recipe
In food processor bowl with metal blade,, combine all spread ingredients. Process for 60-90 seconds, until smooth. Place in serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve spread with pita wedges. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
