    Crescent/Pastry: Crab Cheese Bites

    List of Ingredients

    1 can crabmeat -- drained
    1 cup Swiss cheese -- shredded
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 tablespoon green onion -- minced
    1/2 cup nonfat mayonnaise
    1/8 teaspoon thyme
    1 can water chestnuts

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 375�F. In medium bowl, combine crab, onion, cheese, mayo, lemon and spice. Mix well. Unroll dough and gently press out diagonal lines (to yield 4 large rectangles). Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise, and in thirds widthwise, resulting in 6 squares per rectangle. Place them, not touching, on ungreased baking sheet. Heap some of the cheese mix on each. Top with water chestnuts. Bake at 375�F for 10-12 minutes. Serves 10.
