Crescent/Pastry: Crab Cheese Bites

1 can crabmeat -- drained
1 cup Swiss cheese -- shredded
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 tablespoon green onion -- minced
1/2 cup nonfat mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1 can water chestnuts
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375ºF. In medium bowl, combine crab, onion, cheese, mayo, lemon and spice. Mix well. Unroll dough and gently press out diagonal lines (to yield 4 large rectangles). Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise, and in thirds widthwise, resulting in 6 squares per rectangle. Place them, not touching, on ungreased baking sheet. Heap some of the cheese mix on each. Top with water chestnuts. Bake at 375ºF for 10-12 minutes. Serves 10.
