    Crescent/Pastry: Crab Phyllo Appetizers

    List of Ingredients

    3 tablespoons butter
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3 tablespoons flour
    1 cup whipping cream
    1 pound fresh crab meat
    2 tablespoons chopped chives
    2 tablespoons chopped parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    8 sheets filo
    1/2 cup unsalted butter

    Recipe

    In 3 Tbls butter, saute garlic, and then stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Add the cream and stir till thick. Stir in crab, chives, salt and pepper. Fold the filo sheets so they are 6" x 6" brushing each layer with melted butter. Put a big plop of the crab mixture in the center of each square, and fold into triangles. Seal and brush top with melted butter. Bake at 400�F for 15 to 20 minutes, until they look perfectly browned.
