    Seafood: Shrimp Toast

    List of Ingredients

    1 pound uncooked shrimp, minced
    1 egg
    2 tablespoons minced onion
    12 slices white bread flour
    1 teaspoon grated ginger root
    1 tablespoon sherry
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon cornstarch
    1/2 cup minced parsley (for garnish)

    Recipe

    Remove crusts from bread. Quarter. Mix all ingredients except parsley. Spread resulting paste on the bread. Fry shrimp side down in hot fat until brown. Turn over and brown other side. Serve hot as hors d'oeuvres.
