    Dobb's Flavored Hot Wings

    5 lbs chicken wings cut into two pieces, reserve wing tips
    1 bottle Louisiana hot sauce
    4 tablespoons onion powder
    4 tablespoons garlic powder
    1 whole bulb garlic mashed
    1 cup ranch dressing
    1 1/2 cups flour plus additional
    1/2 gallon canola oil heated to 350 degrees

    In a large bowl add flour, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix completely, and then dredge chicken in flour mixture. Shake of excess flour and drop into heated oil. Let cook until golden brown, remove from oil and place on a draining plate covered with several layers of paper towels. Repeat this process until all chicken has been deep fried and drained of excess oil. Place chicken in a large bowl, dust with flour, and add hot sauce, garlic and ranch dressing. Mix together and place in a greased roasting pan. Include both chicken and sauce. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour turning chicken periodically.
