    Hot & Sassy Chicken Wings

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup white wine vinegar
    2 tablespoons red pepper sauce
    1/2 cup light brown sugar
    2 tablespoons dried thyme
    2 tablespoons cayenne
    4 tablespoons garlic powder
    4 teaspoons salt
    5 tablespoons honey (divided)
    2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed
    1 bunch green onions

    Recipe

    Combine vinegar, pepper sauce, brown sugar thyme, cayenne, garlic powder, salt and 4 tbl. honey in large ziplock bag. Add chicken wings and toss well to coat with marinade. Refrigerate overnight, turning wings several times in the marinade. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line a baking pan with foil. Coat a cooking rack with nonstick cooking spray and place it in baking pan.

    Drain chicken, pouring marinade into a medium heavy saucepan. Arrange wings on rack. Place marinade in pan over high heat and cook until it has reduce by half, 5-7 minutes. Brush wings generously on all sides with reduced marinade. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn wings and bake for 15 minutes more. Then brush wings lightly with remaining 1 tbl. honey and bake for 5 minutes more. Remove and arrange on serving platter. Garnish with clusters of green onions and bleu cheese dressing.
