Japanese Chicken Wings

List of Ingredients
3 pounds chicken wings (drumettes)
1 beaten egg
1 cup flour
1 cup butter
Sauce:
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons water
1 cup sugar (scant)
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Recipe
Dip wings in slightly beaten eggs, then in flour. Fry in butter until deep brown and crispy. Put in shallow roast pan and pour sauce over chicken. Bake in 350F oven until done. Peridocally baste with the sauce during cooking time.
