    Sausage: Melt in Your Mouth Sausages

    List of Ingredients

    2 pounds italian sausage (sweet, mild or hot) -- links or coil
    48 ounces spaghetti sauce
    1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
    1 large green pepper, sliced thin
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
    1 teaspoon parsley flakes
    1 cup water

    Recipe

    Place sausage in skillet; cover with water. Simmer 10 minutes and drain. Meanwhile place remaining ingredients in slow cooker; add drained sausage (if using coil, cut into links). Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Increase temp to high and cook 1 hour more. Serve in buns, or cut sausage into bite size slices and serve over spaghetti. Serves 8.
