    Lasagna: The Best Quick Easy Crockpot Lasagna

    List of Ingredients

    32 ounces spaghetti sauce
    1 egg
    12 ounces cottage cheese or ricotta
    10 ounces lasagna noodles
    12 oz shredded mozzarella cheese -- (12 to 24)
    1 pound ground beef, brownied
    1/2 pound Italian sausage, browned, crumbled
    1 onion, chopped, sauteed

    Recipe

    Place enough spaghetti sauce on bottom of crockpot to cover bottom. Beat egg with cottage cheese or ricotta cheese. Start layering uncooked noodles, cottage or ricotta mix, mozzarella, sauce, meats and onion, end with sauce. Save a little mozzarella cheese to put on top, this is where I always use the extra cheese. Turn crockpot to low and bake at least 5 hours. Can stay in crockpot on low for up to 10 hours. NOTE: I always add about 1/4 cup water to spaghetti sauce to compensate for moisture absorbed by noodles and it is not dry. I also use some grated parmesian cheese, or ever what cheeses you prefer.
