1 lb. crab meat (backfin well picked)
1 egg
4 slices bread (no crust) crumbled
1 small onion chopped fine
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. parsley chopped
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. Old Bay spice
1 dash cayenne pepper Recipe
Cook onion in butter in microwave 1 minute. Add egg and beat well. Add spices. Mix egg mixture with crab meat. Add bread crumbs and toss well. Shape into 6 cakes and roll in toasted bread crumbs or cracker crumbs. Fry in deep fryer 5 minutes or until golden brown. Yields 6 cakes
