2 c. raw peanuts
oil enough to cover peanuts Recipe
Heat oil in an electric skillet, deep fryer or heavy saucepan to 350 degrees. Add peanuts and cook 2 to 4 minutes to desired degree (golden brown), stirring occasionally. Remove from oil and drain well on paper towels. Salt to taste. (You can put Cajun or Creole season) or any seasoning. For zest, sprinkle lightly with garlic salt or Parmesan cheese. Stir to coat evenly.
