    Recipe Introduction


    "Soft cheese, smoky ham, juicy tomato and crunchy onion team up nicely in a lightly crisped pita shell."

    List of Ingredients




    4 pita bread rounds, 8" in diameter
    4 thin slices of ham, cut in half
    4 slices of sharp Cheddar or Swiss cheese cut in half
    1 red onion, very thinly sliced
    2 ripe tomatoes, very thinly sliced
    1 tablespoon melted butter
    Paprika, to taste

    Recipe



    Cut the pita rounds across the center, making 8 half circles. Stuff each half with sliced ham, cheese, onions and tomato. Using a pastry brush, lightly butter the outside of each pita sandwich and sprinkle with paprika. Place directly on the 4" rack and InfraCook on HI until outside is brown and cheese has melted, about 3 to 5 minutes.
    Yield: 4 servings
