    Cheddar, Crab & Wine Fondue

    List of Ingredients




    6 oz. crabmeat, fresh, frozen or canned
    20 oz. / 5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 tbs. flour, all purpose
    1 cup Scuppernong, Riesling, or other sweet white wine
    1/8 tsp. caraway seeds

    Recipe



    1.)    Drain crabmeat well and flake.
    2.)    Toss together cheese and flour.
    3.)    Heat wine in a saucepan until bubbles rise.
    4.)    Over low heat, add cheese, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring after each addition until cheese is melted.
    5.)    Add caraway seeds and crabmeat.
    6.)    Transfer cheese to a fondue pot and keep warm over a fondue burner.

    Suggested Serving: French bread cubes or vegetables for dipping. (Serves 4)
