    Deep in Dixie BBQ Sauce

    1 c Cider vinegar
    1/2 c Heinz catsup
    1 ts Tabasco sauce
    3/4 c Honey
    1 ts Black pepper fresh ground
    1 ea Lemon (juice only)
    2 ts Salt
    3 tb Margarine
    1/2 c Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 c Soy sauce
    2 tb Ginger grated or crystallized

    1/2 ts All-spice ground
    3 tb Onion minced very fine
    3 oz Sourmash whiskey

    Recipe



    Mix the first 9 ingredients in a sauce pan. Heat on medium heat for 10 minutes stirring all the while. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a slow boil for 2 minutes, again stirring all the while. remove from the heat. Allow to cool to room temp and use either as a basting sauce or as a dipping sauce or both as you prefer.
