    Steak: Porterhouse Steak w/ Hoisin BBQ Sauce

    List of Ingredients

    1 2 1/2 pound Porterhouse steak

    Sauce:
    6 tablespoons hoisin sauce
    2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    1/2 medium red onion finely diced
    1 garlic clove minced
    6 plum tomatoes coarsely diced
    1/4 cup ketchup
    2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
    1 tablespoon honey
    1 teaspoon cayenne
    1 tablespoon ancho chile powder
    1 teaspoon pasilla chile powder
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire
    Salt and freshly ground black
    pepper to
    taste

    Recipe

    Season the steak with salt and pepper. Combine all sauce ingredients. Grill the steak for 5 minutes on each side while basting with the sauce. Serve with grilled scallions and potato salad.
