    1 1/4 c Dried black-eyed peas
    4 c Water
    1 Onion chopped
    1 Piece salt pork or 8 pieces bacon
    A little red pepper

    Recipe



    Put all the ingredients together in a pot and cook slowly until tender--about 3 hours.
