    Smoothies: Berry Banana Smoothie

    List of Ingredients

    2 ripe soft bananas
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice + 1 tbl.
    1 cup plain lowfat yogurt
    1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
    3 tablespoons honey
    1 tablespoon orange juice

    Recipe

    Peel and slice the bananas. Sprinkle them with 1 tsp. lemon juice, then place in a sturdy ziplock bag and freeze until solid, between 2-24 hours. Place frozen banana pieces, yogurt, berries, honey, orange juice and remaining lemon juice in blender. Process to make a thick puree. Serves 2.
