Buttermilk Biscuits

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
10 teaspoons chilled stick margarine cut into pieces
3/4 cup 1% low-fat buttermilk
Recipe
Combine flour and next 3 ingredients in a bowl; cut in chilled margarine with a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add buttermilk, and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a floured surface; knead 4 or 5 times. Roll dough to a 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 450¼F for 12 minutes or until golden. Yield: 1 dozen
