    Hardees Clone Biscuits

    List of Ingredients

    2 teaspoons baking powder
    2 cups self rising flour
    2 teaspoons powdered sugar
    6 tablespoons shortening
    1 cup buttermilk

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 425F. Combine dry ingredients & shortening; cut in until its crumb, then add the buttermilk. Mix well. Roll out & cut out biscuits. Place close together in pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until browned. Pour melted margarine over top, place under broiler a few minutes, watching carefully. Note: When cutting biscuits, cut straight down into dough. Do not twist or they won't rise as high as they should.
