2 cups Unbleached flour
1 tablespoon Baking powder

2 tablespoons Unsalted butter melted with
2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
4 tablespoons Cold, unsalted butter (cut into 1/4" pieces)
3/4 cup Heavy cream
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
Recipe
**Using Real Maple Syrup makes all the difference in this recipe. Preheat oven to 425F. Combine flour, baking powder and sale in mixing bowl. Cut butter into the flour until mixture resembles coarse meal. Blend heavy cream and 1/4c maple syrup, and pour into dry ingredient mixture. Stir just until the dough coheres.
Turn dough out on to a floured surface and knead, gently 4 or 5 times. Pat or roll to about 3/4" thickness. Cut into 2-3" rounds with cutter and place on lightly greased baking sheet. Stir melted butter/maple syrup mixture to blend and brush generously on each biscuit. Bake for aproximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
