Sourdough Biscuits

1/3 cup warm water
2 cups flour
2/3 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon dry yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup oil
1/8 teaspoon soda
Recipe
Mix warm water, salt, and yeast; set aside. Mix buttermilk and soda; set aside. In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add yeast mixture, buttermilk mixture, and oil. Stir with a fork till dough forms. Turn onto floured board; knead lightly. Pinch off biscuits and place in a well greased cake pan. Bake at 425F for 20 minutes or till brown.
