    Whipped Cream Biscuits

    Sister Schubert's Secret Bread Recipes

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1 cup whipping cream

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 425F. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together into a large bowl. Beat whipping cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into flour mixture just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead lightly for 1 minute or until dough is smooth and no longer sticky. Roll dough to 1/4" thickness; cut with a floured 1 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on lightly greased large baking sheet, leaving 1 inch of space between biscuits. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
