    Border Butterflake Biscuits

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    1/2 cup + 2 T. butter
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    2 eggs -- well beaten
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup cold milk
    1 tablespoon sugar

    Recipe

    Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Mix egg and milk, add to mixture and mix lightly with a fork. Knead very gently on floured board. Pinch off or use biscuit cutter. Bake at 475ºF until browned lightly and cooked through (about 10 minutes).
