List of Ingredients
12 ounces flour
1 1/2 ounces finely chopped rosemary
2 1/2 ounces roasted garlic puree
1 tbl crushed black pepper
1 pch Kosher salt
1 pch baking powder
8 ounces unsalted butter
3 1/4 ounces confectionery sugar
zest of 1/2 lemon finely, chopped
1 egg Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large mixing bowl mix the flour, rosemary, pepper, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whip the butter, sugar and the lemon zest with a hand-blender. In a third bowl, beat the egg and the garlic puree with a wooden spatula.
Incorporate the egg and garlic mix into the butter mix, then add the whole thing to the flour mix. Form into rolls (about 1inch in diameter) with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Slice the rolls in pieces approximately 1/4-inch thick. Set on parchment paper, leaving 1-inch space between each biscuit. Cook in the middle of a 350°F oven for 7 to 9 minutes, or until golden, set aside to let rest.
