    Amish Corn Bread

    Amish Country Cookbook Vol II

    List of Ingredients

    3/4 cup sugar
    1 cup shortening
    2 eggs
    1 cup sour milk
    1 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1 1/4 cups cornmeal
    1 cup flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt

    Recipe

    MIx all ingredients and pour into greased pan. Bake at 400¼F for 20-25 minutes.
