Corn: Sour Cream Corn Muffins

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup corn meal
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour cream
1 egg, beaten
Buttermilk, if neededRecipe
Mix together the flour, corn meal, baking powder, salt and sugar. In a separate bowl, add soda to the sour cream and stir until frothy. Add egg and mix well. Add in the dry ingredients and stir just until mixed well. Add buttermilk if more liquid is needed. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake in 350° oven for 25 minutes, until nicely brown.
