    Chocolate: Chocolate Nut Bread

    4 cups flour
    1 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 3/4 cups milk
    2/3 cup oil
    2 eggs
    2 cups chocolate chips, divided
    1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

    Recipe

    In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a medium bowl, combine milk, oil and eggs; mix well. Stir into flour mixture just until moistened. Stir in 1 and 1/2 cups morsels and nuts. Spoon into two greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350ºF for 55-60 minutes or until toothpick tests done. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Microwave remaining morsels in a small heavy-duty plastic bag on HIGH power for 30 seconds; knead. Microwave at additional 10-20 second intervals, kneading until smooth. Cut tiny corner from bag; squeeze to drizzle over bread. Sprinkle with additional nuts if desired.
