Nut: Hazelnut Coffee Loaves

1-1/4 cups butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
8 eggs
4-1/2 cups ground hazelnuts
3-1/3 cups self-rising flour
2 tablespoons brandy
Confectioners’ sugar Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 2 9x5-inch loaf pans with non-stick vegetable spray. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 2 at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in ground hazelnuts until well blended. Fold flour into creamed mixture. Stir in brandy. Pour into prepared loaf pans.
Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a tester inserted in the centers of the loaves comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans; cool completely on a wire rack. Dust with confectioners’ sugar. Makes 2 loaves
