Pumpkin: Mom's Pumpkin Walnut Raisin Bread

(1) 29 oz can of pumpkin
4 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of chopped walnuts
5 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon of cloves
4 teaspoons of baking soda
1 cup of veg. oil
1 cup raisins
Recipe
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin, oil, and sugar. Mix well. Add all other ingredients, and mix thoroughly. Pour into bread pans 2/3 full. Makes either 2 large or 7 small loaves. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour. Check with a toothpick after 45 minutes. If it comes out clean, they are done, if not, check after another 15 minutes.
