    Strawberry: Strawberry Nut Bread

    1 pint fresh strawberries, mashed
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    1-1/4 cup vegetable oil
    4 extra large eggs
    2 cups sugar
    3 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    3 teaspoons cinnamon
    1 teaspoon salt

    Recipe



    Stir strawberries, eggs, and oil to combine. Sift dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients to the bowl and stir until just blended. Stir in nuts. Pour into tube pans that has been buttered and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until tester comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Makes 20 slices. Serve warm from the oven.
