    Buttery Beer-Herb Bread

    3 cups bread flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1/4 cup honey
    1 12-ounce can beer
    1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
    1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
    1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350�F.� Spray an 8-inch cake pan with non-stick vegetable spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.� Add honey and beer, mixing until thoroughly blended.� Stir in herbs.� Pour into prepared cake pan.� Slowly drizzle melted butter over the top of the batter. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until loaf is golden brown.� Carefully turn loaf upside-down on a wire rack.� Cool completely.
